Description
The ISM-5 air separator is a proven solution for farms looking to effectively improve the quality of their crops. With a capacity of up to 5 t/h, it enables efficient operation on medium-sized farms without unnecessarily complicating the process.
The ISM-5 not only cleans the material but, above all, enables its precise calibration. Sorting based on specific gravity allows the heaviest and most valuable seeds to be separated, which are distinguished by high germination capacity and growth vigour. In practice, this translates into better seed material and more uniform emergence.
The machine also helps to mitigate the problem of mycotoxins. Grains infected by fungal diseases, such as fusarium, typically have a lower density, allowing them to be effectively separated from sound seed. This reduces the risk of financial losses and helps avoid deductions at collection points.
The ISM-5 is a solution that translates into a tangible improvement in grain quality. Better raw material parameters mean greater sales opportunities and more stable crop yields.
The separator operates on the principle of a controlled air stream that separates the material into fractions. The heaviest, high-quality grain goes into the first chambers, whilst light impurities, dust and damaged grains are directed to subsequent sections, forming feed or waste fractions.
